MANAGEMENT
The school is managed by the Santiniketan Educational and Rural development Society, Mydukur, which was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in 1993.
SCHOOL HOURS:
Monday to Saturday: 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Lunch break: 12.30 p.m. to 1.15 p.m.
Office hours 8.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
CURRICULAM
The school follows the curriculum and syllabi of SCERT, A.P state government, Hyderabad.
SCHOOL FEES
The school fees are payable for 11 months in a year. They have to be paid before the 5th of every month.
Note: 1. Fees once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.
RULES FOR ADMISSION
AGE LIMIT
A child seeking admission to class I should have completed 5 years of age and should not have completed 7 years as on the date of re-opening of the school.
The age for admission to the other classes should be reckoned accordingly.
PROOF OF AGE
As proof of age a Date of birth certificate issued by a local body should be produced. However, the date of birth recorded in the transfer certificate by the State Education Department/Central Board is also acceptable. The date of birth once got recorded by the parent at the time of admission will not be allowed to be changed.
ADMISSION TO PRE-PRIMARY CLASS
Registration of candidates is made in the month of June.
ADMISSION TO CLASS I AND ABOVE
Fresh admissions for class I and above may be made subject to availability of seats in the month of June.
While seeking fresh admission for class II and above parents should produce the Transfer Certificate from the school where the child studied last. It should be duly countersigned by the competent authority.
ACADEMIC EVALUATION
Apart from the three terminal examinations a student’s performance is continuously assessed by conducting unit test, assignments, projects etc. Progress reports are sent to the parents periodically.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
'A Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body' is an internationally accepted maxim. To achieve this objective, we impart training in physical education under the guidance of fully qualified teachers.
Physical Education is compulsory for all the students. No pupil will be exempted from physical exercise or games unless specially permitted by the Head Master on medical grounds supported by the Assistant Civil Surgeon. The prescribed uniform is compulsory for all the students in physical education classes.
UNIFORM
White dress, white canvas shoes and socks should be worn by both boys and girls.
HOUSE SYSTEM
To facilitate a healthy competition and co-operation among the students, the entire school is divided into four houses. Each house has a house master or housemistress, a captain and a vice-captain.
The school has provided many facilities for cricket, volleyball, softball, ball badminton, throw ball, hockey, football, kho-kho, kabaddi, tennikoit, long jump, high jump, triple jump, athletics etc.,

Boys: Navy Blue shorts and Classic Cream shirt up to class V.
Navy Blue Trousers and Classic Cream Shirt for classes VI to X.
Black shoes with Navy Blue socks.
GIRLS: Navy Blue midi and Classic Cream shirt up to class V.
Classic Cream Kameez(Top) with half sleeves, collar and shoulder straps and Navy Blue salwar (bottom).
Navy Blue Dupatta from VI class to X class.
The Salwar and Kameez shall not be tight fitted.
Black shoes with Navy Blue socks.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
As co-curricular activities promote growth and development of the skills and abilities of the students, literary activities in English, Telugu and Hindi are conducted by the teachers concerned. Students are encouraged to participate at district level activities conducted by different local organizations. These competitions help the pupils to become more eloquent as well as skilful in writing articles in the languages taught.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
To make the pupils more sociable and well-disciplined we would like to introduce a few selected extracurricular activities. Every student is expected to participate in all the activities.
